Snowmass Village to host Colorado Scottish Festival August 1-2, 2015
Long-Time Douglas County Festival Finds New Home in the Mountains
The Colorado Scottish Festival, held for 25 years at Highland Heritage Park in Douglas County, is moving to Snowmass Village, August 1-2, 2015.
John Thornton, executive director of the Festival, said the move came after Snowmass approached the Festival to become one of the major signature events in the Roaring Fork Valley. “Along with the Town of Snowmass’ invitation came important offers of support and the opportunity to reach a major new audience,” Thornton said.
